SCHOLARSHIPS

Saint Paul’s Community Foundation diligently strives to be good stewards of the resources God entrusts to us. The blessing of our efforts is realized by the enhancement of funds available for deserving scholarship recipients. The Foundation offers two types of scholarship which are not based on financial need. A maximum of 25 scholarships are available to successful candidates. Application will only be considered and evaluated if the minimum requirements are met. Submission of a completed application does not guarantee a scholarship. Only applications completed on-line will be accepted and must be submitted through the SPCF website. www.saintpaulscommunityfoundation.org

Academic Achievement Scholarship 

Academic Achievement Scholarships for undergraduate, graduate and post graduate studies for the 2018 scholarship year. The Foundation’s scholarships are not based on financial need but on academic excellence. Scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates who have met all requirements outlined in the Academic Achievement application and final selection of the scholarship committee. Please read all requirements in detail listed on the application.

Requirements:

Minimum 3.0 GPA, A sealed official transcript, member in good standing with St. Paul’s Baptist, Two (2) letters of recommendation on official organization letterhead hand signed and within the current school year, a resume/personal statement, and a typed response to the essay topic. Please see additional details outlined on application and adhere to the requirements to ensure a completed application has been submitted. Only applications completed and submitted on-line will be accepted

Apprentice Scholarship 

Apprentice Scholarships for persons pursing an undergraduate degree, associate’s degree, or skill trade certification for the 2018 scholarship year. The Foundation’s scholarships are not based on financial need but on academic excellence. Scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates who have met all requirements outlined in the Apprentice application and by final selection of the scholarship committee. Please read all requirements in detail listed on the application. 

Requirements:

Minimum 2.0 GPA or proficient scoring as indicated by your program, a sealed official transcript, Two (2) letters of recommendation on official organization letterhead, hand signed and within the current school year, a resume/personal statement, and a typed response to the essay topic. Please see additional details outlined on application and adhere to the requirements to ensure a completed application has been submitted. The Middle School Scholar Award

The Middle School Scholar Award is for middle school students who are rising 9th grades. The SPCF Scholarship committee has partner with the Sons and Daughters of the King mentorship group to implement the program. The award is designed to help student who are transitioning to high school prepare for the rigorous college application and scholarship processes.

Requirements:

Applicant must rising 9th grades, must be a member of Sons and Daughters of the King mentorship group, minimum 3.5 GPA for the Junior Academic Achievement Award or 2.5 GPA for Junior Apprentice Award a sealed official transcript, letters of recommendation on official organization letterhead, hand signed and within the current school year hand and a typed response to the essay topic. Please see additional details outlined on application and adhere to the requirements to ensure a completed application has been submitted.
